Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: John As The Pawn Was Dispatched By Stefano DiMera

Years ago, John as the Pawn was dispatched by Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) to assassinate his enemies, most of them working for or with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Back in the day, Victor was in the Greek mob and that’s how he and Konstantin got acquainted-they were anything but childhood friends! He was sent to Konstantin’s home with a “message” when the shooting happened and Konstantin’s daughter Catherina (Ellie Patrikios) was killed, and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) walked in right afterwards.

Until recently, John didn’t remember of the incident and Steve kept it a secret, knowing John wasn’t in his right mind in Aria. But Konstantin remembered-and vowed revenge for his daughter’s life!

DOOL Spoilers: Konstantin Thinks He’s Controlling The Pawn Now And Orders A Hit

Konstantin thinks he’s controlling the Pawn now and intends to order a hit-but the hit can’t take place until after his and Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) wedding.

Konstantin’s intention is to have John kill Maggie shortly after the wedding, having gotten ahold of the prenup and altered it to make him the heir.

Maggie was probably smart enough to have two copies, one in a secret place, or perhaps she’s got Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) keeping it in his office safe.

Konstantin flashes the tarot card and has fun giving John orders and then calling them off, totally confusing the Pawn! John isn’t so amused and wants Konstantin to get to the point and tell him what his real mission is, and up to that point he may just be faking and not under Kon’s control, but he wants him to think he is!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: The Magic Words

Konstantin finally utters the magic words-the ones that actually activate John as the Pawn, and he can tell by the change in his eyes and demeanor John’s finally under his control.

Konstantin orders the Pawn to aim at a target-and winds up with a gun in his own face, and he can’t get him to stand down! John as the Pawn utters the words burned into Konstantin’s memory for over thirty years-“I have a message for you and your boss from Stefano”!

The gun in his face-the look in John’s eyes-the tone in his voice-Konstantin realizes he’s made a huge mistake! He’s rebooted The Pawn’s original mission and now Konstantin is his target!
