Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Vs. Kyle, Feud Ignites After Claire’s Hired As Harrison’s Nanny

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) are currently co-parenting Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) in harmony, this could all change, very soon.

Kyle recently mentioned that he needs to replace Harrison’s nanny, and asked for her input; however, if he moves forward and hires someone without her knowledge, could the two land in a bitter feud?

Y&R spoilers hint that there’s been a lot of talk about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and what kind of career she plans on jumping into once Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) is taken care of. Of course, during her stint at the mental health facility, she’s proven to be excellent with children. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) recently promised a worried Claire that her police record would not deter any future job opportunities, as her family would back her up.

Once Jordan is found, detained, and either dies or is sent back to prison, this would allow Claire to finally “move forward” with her life. As Nikki’s AA sponsor is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he may mention Kyle’s struggles trying to find a nanny for Harrison, and Nikki may offer up a solution to this problem.

Kyle could meet Claire and the two could instantly connect. After all, Kyle not only needs a nanny for Harrison, but a love interest, too. With both Jack and Nikki backing Claire up, she’d be a shoo-in. Naturally, Kyle may think because Claire is a Newman, and Summer’s cousin, that his ex-wife would have zero issues with Ms. Grace watching over their little boy since Claire’s technically the boy’s aunt, right?

He’ll be dead wrong. Summer has yet to officially meet Claire, and all she’s heard is the awful stories from her dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the poisoning and all that happened at the lake house. Now that her grandmother Nikki is off the wagon, thanks to Claire’s role in Jordan’s plan, Summer will be more than weary about allowing a recently released patient from a mental health facility to watch their son.
