Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) just received a ton of DiMera shares, land, and other assets to help hide Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) in light of escaping Clyde Weston’s (James Read) wrath for not finishing the job where Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) is concerned.

Days spoilers indicate that EJ is “all in”, but not for brotherly love reasons; rather DiMera power reasons. As such, it wouldn’t be overly surprising if EJ crossed a line to ensure Stefan’s safety. As it stands now, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has been charged with the shooting of Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and awaiting trial in jail. While EJ now knows that Stefan was the shooter, will he do the right thing and exonerate Xand, or tamper with evidence to ensure Cook gets nailed for this?

The plot twist in all this is that Harris knows Stefan shot him but kept it a secret. He wanted Stefan to work with him to bring Clyde down; however, Stefan ended up turning to EJ. Harris has gone on the record noting that he “can’t remember” who shot him. Still, as he was attacked a second time, while Xand was in jail, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is leaning less toward Xander not being the killer.

While Harris is awake, he’s still recovering from his injuries. What if he ends up dying? As fans know, Steve Burton has exited the soap, so Harris’s days are numbered with the show. If Harris gets attacked by Clyde or one of his thugs again and dies, he won’t be able to tell the truth when push comes to shove. If EJ wants to cover for Stefan, could he cross a line?
