Fans expected this as Sloan didn’t want a baby, she just wanted to prevent Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) from reuniting with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

With Sloan drinking more and beginning to show her true colors, it’s only a matter of time before Eric must protect the child. When that happens, could Nicole be Jude’s nanny?

Eric Brady’s Fatherhood Dream

DOOL spoilers reveal that Eric has always dreamt about becoming a father. Eric’s dream came true without him realizing it when Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) ended up pregnant.

However, Eric wasn’t able to be a part of that child’s life due to a paternity lie, switched baby, and the child’s death.

Then, Eric missed out on Nicole’s pregnancy after Sloan tampered with the paternity test results. Now, Eric is raising his own child but doesn’t realize they are genetically linked.

Right now, Eric still believes that Nicole’s baby died and he adopted someone else’s child. Eric is bonding with the little boy, but Sloan’s secrets keep getting messier.

Sloan never wanted a child. Sloan wanted Eric and knew Nicole’s baby could reunite “Ericole.” After Sloan’s miscarriage and diagnosis, she decided to adopt a child to make Eric’s dream come true.

However, Sloan had no idea how much work and sacrifice is required to raise a child.

Sloan resents the baby and dare we say, perhaps she is even jealous of an infant. Sloan has zero bond to that child and she knows it. Each day, Sloan is hating an innocent baby more and more.

Eric knows motherhood hasn’t been easy on Sloan, but she’s acting more like a baby than the actual baby! As the child grows up, he will be able to sense Sloan’s true feelings for him and that will open up a lot of complicated issues.

Holly Jonas’ Awakening

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that over in Nicole’s corner, she will finally get a victory. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) wakes up from her coma. Ever since the drug overdose, Nicole’s energy and focus has been solely on Holly.

After Holly wakes up during the week of February 26, Nicole might start to reconnect with people around Salem more… such as Eric and Jude Brady.

Sloan keeps leaving the baby unattended and gets annoyed each time he cries. Sloan clearly doesn’t have any maternal instincts at all. Eric is beginning to see this and could worry about Jude’s well-being.

It’s not just the child’s physical well-being that’s important, but his emotional and mental well-being as well. Plus, Sloan’s drinking and outbursts are just getting worse.

At some point, Eric will have to keep Jude from Sloan as she becomes more unfit. However, Eric has a thriving photography business, so he will need help with Jude. Now that Holly is awake, could Nicole step in and nanny her own child?
