Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Konstantin Meleounis Behind The Framing Of Xander Cook?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Friday, February 9 was an explosive day in the land of Salem. The show ended with a massive cliffhanger: the Horton house going down in flames, as well as Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) getting shot.

Before Harris’s shooting, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was desperately trying to get out of his house, and “escape” Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) seductions by going out for a jog.

Days prior, Xander was getting odd phone calls about “eliminating” someone. While no face was shown of the assailant who shot Harris, fans got a peak of the shooter’s outfit and shoes, which looked a lot like what Xander was wearing that night.

Days spoilers suggest that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) might be the one looking to frame Xander. After all, the recent double date between the two men and their lady friends, Sarah and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) ended in disaster, and Xand has always been suspicious of the Greek man.

But how and why would Konstantin want Harris shot? He could’ve easily set Xander up for another crime, with the same results.

Clyde Weston (James Read) is likely behind the hits on the Horton house, Lucas, and Harris. He has a motive for all three. By the shootings and fire, he’s sending out a strong message to Harris, Lucas, and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), as all three men were targeting him and his drug ring in one form or another.

Could Clyde and Konstantin have an unknown partnership? Could Konstantin have triggered John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) inner Pawn to dress up like Xander and carry out Harris’s shooting?

This would kill two birds with one stone for Meleounis; help Clyde with his drug business by ordering out Harris’s hit, and also throw Xander under the bus.
