The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) loyalty is challenged. She finds Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a bad way-will she keep Nikki’s secret and not tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?

Lauren comes across Nikki drunk at the Genoa City Athletic Club, and Nikki pleads with her not to tell Victor-Nikki is stumbling drunk, and nearly falls on the stairs.

Lauren grabs her and tells her she has an idea-the last thing she wants is Nikki out on the road in that state. She could get in a wreck and get killed or possibly kill someone else drunk driving-Lauren asks her if she drove, Nikki says she didn’t.

Lauren knows some of what happened in Oregon although Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) hasn’t told her everything. She knows that what happened is why Michael went to Oregon and why Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) is back in town.

Y & R Spoilers: Nikki Newman Is Using All The Addict Tricks

Nikki’s been using all the addict tricks, spiking water bottles with vodka, taking a lot of breath mints. She did call her sponsor earlier in the week and she knows she’s got support-but for some reason, this time she couldn’t handle it and went on a drunk.

The last thing she expected is to see anyone she knew or that knew her-Lauren considers whether Victor does need to be called; but Nikki doesn’t want him to know.

Lauren thinks the best thing is to spend a “girl’s night” together and stay with Nikki until she sleeps it off-she’ll make the calls. Now that Victor has locked up all the liquor in the ranch house, Nikki has to go to a bar or sneak it in some other way.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: The Cover Up Commences

Lauren gets Nikki in a suite and puts everything under her name-and pays the clerk extra for discretion. She makes the calls and tells Michael to let Victor know that the two of them are having an impromptu girl’s night out.

She wanted to help to relieve Nikki of some of the stress she’s been under and Michael tells her Victor might call.

But Lauren thinks she’s got it covered-she says they are headed for an expensive spa in Chicago, and Michael thinks that’s cool. She requests that he ask Victor not to try and call for several hours, they’ll check in later.
