The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Cole Lies To Claire-Refuses To Frighten Her With Jordan News

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will lie to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin)-or at least avoid telling her the truth. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finds out the prison Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has been held in had a huge fire, and Jordan’s unaccounted for; Cole refuses to frighten Claire with the news.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jordan Had Called Claire Grace And Scared Her

Just a few days ago Jordan had called Claire and scared her-pretending to be her mother, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to get the nurse to give Claire the phone.

Needless to say, Claire told her off and told the nurse to never give her a call from that number again, saying it wasn’t her mother, it was the devil!

Claire had some family visits afterwards so Cole and Victoria were pleased to hear about Claire’s progress so far relayed by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who’d been there to visit.

The last thing anyone wants is for Claire to be afraid of Jordan showing up again-possibly breaking into the hospital and kidnapping her, like happened before. Because of what happened then, at least security has been beefed up at Genoa City Memorial.

Y & R Spoilers: Holding Back The News

Cole goes to check in on his and Victoria’s daughter to see if everything is okay-but it turns out she’s heard some nurses talking and has some questions.

Cole asks her exactly what she overheard, and she tells him security is being increased in the hospital because of recent events and wants to know what the events are.

Cole has to think quick since she wonders if it’s because of something concerning Jordan, and he says yes, but because of what happened when she snuck in and kidnapped her.

Sometimes it takes time to get everything put in place when security systems are being upgraded, more cameras put up around the hospital and the like.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kind Of A Lie, But Worth It

At this point, they don’t know if Jordan is loose or if Jordan is dead, so Cole didn’t’ see the point of getting Claire all riled up and scared over nothing.

It’s kind of a lie, but worth it, considering Claire is relieved to hear what happened before shouldn’t happen again; every person coming into the hospital now has to show identification.

Security guards are now at every nurses’ station on every floor, and especially on the floor where Claire is housed, because of the prior kidnapping.

Cole and Victoria have contacted Claire’s doctors and made sure she’s protected from hearing or reading any news about Jordan and the fire. But the hospital definitely is aware of the fire at the prison, and there’s an all points bulletin out for Jordan.
