The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will discover Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) is back in town.

They run into each other at Crimson Lights after not seeing each other in years, and Cole seems a little flirtatious-will she steal him from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) again?

Back when their baby Eve, now discovered alive and named Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was born, Victoria had gotten pregnant on purpose.

By the time Eve was born she was with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Cole was with Ashley, but Victoria got pregnant to hang onto Cole. Now, Ashley is going through a divorce from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and vulnerable and Cole thinks she’s still beautiful.

Cole may not be flirting with Ashley at all, but she might think he is, and decide she wants him back. Surely he’ll fill her in on why he’s there and why he’s staying in town-to help his now grown daughter with Victoria, not to get things going again with Ashley!

Cole and Victoria had just had that conversation-wondering if baby Eve had lived and they’d known it if she would have brought them back together.

Now, years later they’re trying to make up for lost time and trying to reparent their grown daughter who was snatched and groomed her whole life in such a cruel way.

Back then, Cole was immature and couldn’t stay faithful to his young bride-that’s what split them up and why Victoria got pregnant to try and hang on to him.

By the time she went into premature labor after suffering appendicitis, it was too late to work things out; he’d moved on with Ashley and she with Neil.

Cole will likely be put to the test with Ashley, but he should decide what’s best for Claire, and that’s to be a united pair of parents with Victoria.

Besides, Ashley is not yet available, she has to get divorced from Tucker if she wants to do things right. But, usually in Genoa City, being married to someone else is not a reason not to become involved with someone else.

That’s especially true in the Abbott family, where Dina Abbott (Marla Adams) had numerous affairs-one of which produced Ashley. But, the Newmans have had their share of affairs as well.
