General Hospital Spoilers claim Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is already concerned that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is going through something that has drastically changed his personality.
Normally, they make parenting decisions together, and he never makes major life changes without consulting her first.
Until now, that is. When Drew unilaterally decided Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) should go to a local all-girls private school — instead of the school she has always attended and loves — Sam was appreciative of his efforts but taken aback.
It wasn’t like him to make such a major decision without consulting her first, and she couldn’t believe he wasn’t concerned with how Scout would feel about it either. Did Pentonville tease all of the courtesy and compassion right out of him?
Sam has been biting her tongue in an attempt to keep the peace and let things work themselves out. She felt that the least she could do is give it a trial run, and the same with Scout.
But Scout isn’t happy with the change and wants to stick it out at the school she’s grown up in. That’s not an unfair request, from where Sam sits.
She is preparing to confront Drew about the situation, but she isn’t sure what to expect from him, given the way he’s been acting as of late.
As Sam and Drew have the first of many future arguments over Scout’s future, she’ll be left wondering what happened to her daughter’s father.
Ever since Drew first came to town realizing that he was a Quartermaine, he knew he didn’t exactly fit in with his family. He was raised differently.
He brought a more peaceful and gentle personality into the mix. This offered the Quartermaine family a sense of balance that they hadn’t really seen since Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee) was alive.
But lately, Drew’s personality has taken a sharp turn — and soon, his entire family is going to be acutely aware of it. Drew is already at odds with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), but he won’t be the last family member Drew contends with.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may have been his ally before, but he might not feel that way when he finds out the secret Michael was keeping about Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) being the SEC rat.
Drew has realized being kind isn’t getting him anywhere with his family, and it’s high time he starts acting like one of them.
On the heels of upsetting half his family, Drew won’t have a friend in Sam as he turns on her and serves her papers. Filing for custody of Scout is the last thing Sam would ever have expected him to do.
She is Scout’s primary caretaker. She is the one who has always been there and been a consistent figure in Scout’s life. While Drew’s many absences in her life haven’t exactly been his fault, that doesn’t negate that is, indeed, often absent.
But will that be enough for Sam to argue that she is the best person to decide where Scout attends school — or whose home she grows up in? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers as Drew shocks everyone by taking Sam to court.
