Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Medical Crisis Changes Everything For Danny & Their Romance

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) rivalry with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) may not be over, just yet. Added teasers had implied that their feud would heat up to the point where Tucker would strike back at Red, potentially landing her in the hospital.

That didn’t exactly play out during November Sweeps, although Genoa City was a flurry of drama thanks to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk), so perhaps this was pushed to the side, for the time being. Could something play out, come the holiday season?

Y&R Spoilers: A Little History Refresher

Y&R spoilers note that things got quite ugly between Phyllis and Tucker when Red revealed a partnership between him and Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd).

That leverage doesn’t seem sustainable anymore, as pretty much the entire town knows the two are in cahoots; however, that doesn’t mean that Tucker won’t strike back or Ms. Summers won’t do something to McCall to add fuel to the fire on this feud.

If Red does something and Tucker retaliates, Phyllis could land in the hospital with a medical crisis on her hands. How could this change things between her and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian)?

Y&R Spoilers: Danny’s Bond With Phyllis Bothers The Bug

Danny is smitten with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and looking for a reunion. The two also kissed recently, but unfortunately, Phyllis stumbled upon their couple’s first reunion lip lock.

When Danny had Cricket listen to his new song for the first time, he mentioned that she inspired some lyrics, but so did Phyllis. This rubbed the Bug the wrong way. Despite zero romantic intentions, Danny cares for Phyllis, and the two have a special bond and friendship, despite their rocky history; something Christine doesn’t like or understand.

If Red lands in the hospital, Danny will run to Phyllis’s side. His commitment to his ex (and Cricket’s nemesis), could place a wedge between him and Christine. But seeing Ms. Summers so helpless may also have Danny realizing that he has more than just “friendship” feelings for the redhead.
