Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is setting up for a dangerous date. She decides to give it a try dating Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) but on their first date, she takes a little something along to the Bistro-something dangerous!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: A Talk With Mom Helped Put Things In Perspective

After Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) came home to a hungover Holly, Holly finally had a daughter-mother talk with her mom about her feelings for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

Holly had been bottling up her feelings for Johnny for quite a while and she was anxious and overwhelmed. Nicole told her-as Tate had wanted to but held back-Johnny is not only too old for Holly, he’s her stepbrother; Johnny cares, but it’s like caring for his sister.

Holly finally realizes a romantic relationship with Johnny was never going to happen, but Nicole is able to tell her in such a way that she didn’t feel judged. Holly decides the crush on Johnny must not be all that exciting since it doesn’t get under her mother’s skin.

DOOL Spoilers: A Trip Down Memory Lane And A Trip In The Present

A trip down memory lane with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) helped a lot too, when he came and joined Holly and her mom, along with baby Jude (uncast infant).

It made her think about what her family could look like if her mom and Eric had stayed together, and after that, she feels bad for her appalling behavior with Tate.

She apologizes for the terrible way she’s treated him and what an awful example of friendship she’s shown him by expecting him to make Johnny jealous when he’s into her himself.

He knew exactly what Holly was trying to do to Johnny and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) but still hung around and she realizes Tate really cares about her.

Tate then tells her he bought her a Christmas/birthday gift and she’s touched-it’s her favorite book, “Pride And Prejudice”.

Tate really earned some points with Holly with his choice of her favorite book, and she realizes he really cares about her because of his putting thought into it.

She agrees to go with him to the New Year’s party at The Bistro, after begging him for a second chance. This is going to be their official, real first date and they’re both looking forward to it; she decides to kiss Tate right off at the start and not wait.

But, with some of Clyde Weston’s (James Read) drugs being laced with Fentanyl, Holly makes a very dangerous move and Nicole almost catches her putting pills in her pocket.

Holly and Tate go off on their date and Holly’s intentions are for the two to maybe get a little high as a celebration.
