The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Stuck In The Middle With You-And You-Danny Tries To Keep The Peace Between Christine And Phyllis?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will feel stuck in the middle with her-and her-as he tries to keep the peace between two rivals.

Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have been rivals-over him, for many years, although he does acknowledge his past errors; he just wants the two to make peace.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: A Twisted Triangle

Back years ago, there was a twisted triangle between Christine, then known as “Cricket” and Danny and Phyllis, and they were all very young, Cricket barely out of her teens.

Danny was getting started in his music career, and Cricket and he were married-he was her first husband, before Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) although they were close.

Phyllis was a groupie who seduced Danny in a moment of weakness and claimed to be pregnant with his child-Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), and it caused his marriage to break up.

It turned out, Danny found out much later that Daniel wasn’t even his child, but he was attached to the baby so he adopted him, having sole custody for a time.

Phyllis and he remained good friends although a long-lasting marriage wasn’t in the cards for them, and Phyllis went on to stay in Genoa City, while Danny and Daniel moved away.

Y & R Spoilers: A Long-Standing Feud And They Both Want To Reconnect With Him

Christine just found herself in the process of becoming single again, after many years of marriage to Paul-it just wasn’t working for either one of them anymore, she revealed to Danny.

In the meantime, Phyllis connects with Danny over their son Daniel who has moved back to Genoa City, and then there was her traumatic experience of faking her death.

She can’t forget attending her own memorial service in disguise and seeing how much Danny, among others of her family still cared, and Phyllis may hope for another chance.

For each woman’s own reasons, they want to reconnect to Danny, who’s staying around town for a while this time but there’s still definitely a rivalry between them.

Christine was very hesitant to give Phyllis any kind of break legally after the hellacious hurt she put her children through, and Danny really couldn’t have blamed her!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Why Can’t We All Be Friends?

Danny just wishes they could all be friends and this years-long rivalry between Phyllis and Christine could just finally go away.

It’s not like Danny is going to reignite any kind of romance with either one of them any time soon, Christine’s stinging over Paul and not ready.

Phyllis seems adrift, without a job and kind of no purpose in her life and Danny’s not going to be in the position of being anyone’s reason for living!

But with children and grandchildren in town Danny and Phyllis have family connection through them. With Christine, there’s connection through years of friendship-will it eventually become more with either woman?-who knows?
