General Hospital spoilers reports Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is kicking up dust in Port Charles, and stirring emotions in Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) he didn’t know he had.

Those things will serve as good distractions for her while she continues to worry about her daughter’s inclination to give into Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliott) plan for her to rule over the ladies at Deception.

Lois knows her daughter well. When Brook Lynn is up, and life is going well, she would never think about accepting such a gift. It’s practically blood money in her eyes.

But if Brook Lynn is knocked down off the high she’s on right now with so many hopes in store for her music industry career, she might cave. Tracy knows that, too, which makes her offer all the more dangerous.

Brook Lynn is a formidable ally when in need — and she loves to be needed. That may get in her way if she starts to realize the ladies of Deception won’t have a business to call their own without her.

It could lead her to reconsider dismissing her grandmother’s gift right off the bat. But she is dying to explore where her music career can take her, and she has the support of pretty much everyone but her granny.

As she continues to butt heads with Tracy, she may also butt heads with the friends who feel betrayed by her. Will they want nothing to do with her, or might she have the chance to redeem herself if she takes Tracy’s offer and hands the business back to Lucy and Maxie?

Tracy insists she wasn’t acting out of malice when she sought to take over Deception. She certainly enjoyed the process because of how much she hates Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

But Tracy just wanted something solid and reliable for her granddaughter to bank on. She and Brook Lynn may not see eye to eye in that department, but Brook Lynn does believe Tracy had good intentions.
