General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) will debrief-how best can they help Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez)?

Are Charlotte’s problems emotionally or mentally based, or does she have latent programming by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) taking hold?

General Hospital Spoilers: Post-Hypnotic Suggestion Or Paranoia?

Kevin has to decide whether Charlotte is acting out because of post-hypnotic suggestions or other brainwashing tactics, or if she’s suffering paranoia; now they know Charlotte thinks her father’s in danger.

It’s fairly obvious that she perceives Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to be some type of danger to her father, although they’re not sure why.

Charlotte has been through several mothers and mother figures in her young life, and almost lost Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for real a couple of times.

It’s perfectly understandable why she might be afraid of losing mother figures or her father, but what’s the problem with Anna?

Laura is certain that came from Victor weaponizing Charlotte while he had her in the school in France they went and got her from; a post-hypnotic suggestion does make sense.

GH Spoilers: Charlotte Cassadine Isn’t Being Truthful

Valentin and Laura, and even Kevin can tell that Charlotte isn’t being truthful and the counseling that Kevin was to do with her Halloween afternoon showed it.

She talked to him but he could tell she was being very evasive, and something that troubles him greatly is she seems to believe her own lies.

That is not a good thing at any age for anyone, but for a fifteen year old girl it’s almost unbelievable-how many lies has she told that others believed?

Laura fears for her granddaughter, realizing that Charlotte may be a pathological liar with a death wish for Anna, thinking she needs to protect Valentin from her!

General Hospital Spoilers: They Need A Diagnosis

Kevin, Laura and Valentin agree they need a diagnosis first thing-whether this is mental or emotional illness or some kind of programming done by Victor prior to his death.

Laura and Kevin both encourage Valentin to search Charlotte’s room, even if he has to do it when she’s not home. It’s his right as a father and clues may be hidden that would indicate she was programmed and there could be post-hypnotic suggestions that are being triggered.

Valentin remembers Charlotte has a set of tarot cards she claimed were from a friend at camp. Laura points out that was what Peter August (Wes Ramsey) used to control Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)-could this be the case with Charlotte as well?
