Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has a document for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Might it be a corrected birth certificate for their baby Victoria Margaret Horton-Kiriakis (uncredited)?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Baby’s Last Name Should Not Be Brady

The legal last name for Victoria on her birth certificate was Brady, since before Xander and Sarah made up Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) was listed as her father.

But the truth came out, and now, after some cooling off time perhaps Rex has legally relinquished his rights to the baby, realizing he’s lost Sarah again.

There is DNA proof that Xander is Victoria’s father, even though they may have had to get another paternity test done so the next step was to get her name right.

So that is what Sarah set out to do-and now she’ll have a pleasant surprise for Xander and he’ll be shown as her father legally. He should be very happy even though he and she together forever isn’t quite a done deal yet, though he wants it.

DOOL Spoilers: Sarah Horton Considers Xander Kiriakis As A Father

Sarah considers how Xander would be as a father, and she has no qualms where that is concerned-she knows that there’s no switching babies this time even though he meant well. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had been in on that switch too when Sarah’s baby died and Rachel Black (Finlay Rose Slater) had lived-Xander was very attached to the baby.

Trust takes time when people have been betrayed, for whatever reason it happened, so even though Sarah trusts Xander more than she did, she’s still taking things slow.

For now, letting him co-parent Victoria Margaret will be more than enough without getting in deeper with him than she’s comfortable with, and he agrees as well.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: As Expected, Xander Kiriakis Is Thrilled

As expected, Xander is thrilled when Sarah hands him the new birth certificate with him named as father and Victoria’s last name shown as Horton-Kiriakis.

They are getting closer again and Sarah is gradually being able to put the mistakes of the past behind her and show Xander some forgiveness, but it’s taking some time.

For now they will share their baby girl and have fun watching her grow, finding out whose traits she exhibits and who she winds up looking like.

Xander promises he will never let Sarah down again and certainly not his daughter-but his motivation to stay straight is based on his desires now, and that’s a big difference.

He’s not changing himself simply to please Sarah or Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) but their believing in him does help a lot!
