He came to Salem to rekindle his romance with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) but has no idea his other ex Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is in Salem too!

Everett also moved to Salem to take a job at the Salem Spectator as editor, having been vacated recently by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).

But his main goal was to reconnect with Stephanie and explain he didn’t ghost her-he’d been in a coma, being hit by a car on the way to the post office.

He didn’t have ID or a cell phone with him and he’d walked-strange in a city the size of Seattle, and that wasn’t the only thing strange.

A huge question is how’d he get halfway across the country with no job or money? He told Stephanie he couldn’t get his job in Seattle back and apparently just got out of the hospital!

Jada and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) recently moved in together, and Rafe had asked her if she’d ever lived with someone, and she told him about her husband.

Presumably, that’s her ex-husband unless he disappeared suddenly with her too, and perhaps was presumed dead, which really creates a mess, is Everett one of those with two different lives?

Did he go by “Everett Lynch” when he was married to Jada, or did he use another alias-this guy gets stranger and stranger and Chad DiMera, (Billy Flynn) doesn’t trust him!

Stephanie’s not sure what to make of his strange story either, but gradually they become closer again, she and Chad drifting apart because he doesn’t want to marry and she does. Everett may have more than one secret, more than one life, and have been working towards more than one wife!

Everett, or whoever he really is, can expect to be blindsided finding out Jada also lives in Salem-and she and Stephanie know each other!

Their fathers were close friends, so Jada has connections in Salem-and a sister who just moved away after living in Salem for a few trauma and drama filled months. Everett has a big secret, and maybe more than one, and it might come out the hard way for him.

Imagine being cornered by both of your exes, who never knew about your relationship with the other, and during the time he ghosted Stephanie maybe he was married to Jada!

Or maybe he was with Stephanie during the time he disappeared and ghosted Jada, perhaps even faking his death-oh, it’s a big secret and a big mess!
