Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Blake Berris Relishes The Role Of Newbie Everett

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Blake Berris is back in Salem, but not as Nick Fallon, as Everett, the amnesiac boyfriend of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Stephanie thought she was ghosted by Everett when in reality he was in a coma and when he woke up he had amnesia-very soapy! Here’s what Berris had to say about his brand-new stint on DOOL.

DOOL Spoilers: Is Everett Really Nick?

Berris told SOD that his new character Everett is “such a brilliant character, and the storyline is so good.”

He confirms that Everett came to Salem to win back the heart of Stephanie who is now involved with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Everett is the new editor at The Spectator and unlike dastardly Nick he has a “good heart.”

Still, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that Nick is somehow buried inside Everett. The coma/amnesia storyline lends itself to conjecture and Salem is known to be the land of ghouls. We’ll have to wait and see if this rumor pans out but for now Berris is relishing playing a good guy.

Ironically, Berris spills that he had sort of moved on from acting when the show approached him about a return. He was “doing a lot more writing and producing” and was ready to make and direct a project in August. But the writer’s strike upended that plan and so the idea of returning to daytime was made extra appealing.

Blake told SOD that for now his stay as Everett has been extended from a 13-week run and this suits him just fine. “Back when I was on the show before” he says “I was … cutting my teeth in a way. I’m really embracing it as my life right now.”

Blake’s confidence has grown since his first DOOL run plus, he says it’s easier than “taking care of three kids and working from home.” He describes his second stint in Salem as a “dream come true” and legions of dedicated fans feel exactly the same way!
