Might she beg his daughter, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) to talk some sense into her dad about not driving himself so hard?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester’s Not Listening

Eric’s not listening to Dr. Colin Colby’s (Justin Davis) orders, driving himself much too hard given his devastating diagnoses.

Eric has more than one body system with troubles, and that’s why it’s been difficult to pin all his symptoms down to just one thing-it hasn’t helped that he’s hidden some.

He’s been having hand tremors, one hand only, transient ischemic attacks, which can be precursors to strokes, atherosclerosis in his brain and coughing up blood.

No one knew about the coughing up blood until it was observed and Eric couldn’t hide it any longer. So much for his efforts not to worry anyone, that could have been anything from ulcers to lung cancer!

B & B Spoilers: Bridget Forrester Is Shocked, Wants To Hospitalize

When Donna tells Bridget, she’s shocked-she wants to hospitalize her father, at least for observation; when a patient is not being honest about all their symptoms, misdiagnoses can happen.

Who knows what else the stubborn Eric might be hiding, what he’s hiding could kill him if it’s serious enough, or be crucial clues to a correct diagnosis!

Donna tells Bridget that she wants her to try to talk some sense into her dad, at the risk of Eric’s anger at divulging his medical secrets to his daughter.

He has wanted to keep this a secret, yes, to avoid scaring his family, but it seems also in a strange sense to save face-afraid of being put out to pasture.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Did Donna Logan Violate HIPAA?

Donna asks Bridget if she violated HIPAA by sharing Eric’s diagnoses and his symptoms with her. Bridget tells her because she’s a doctor, in that sense, no, but as a family member, maybe; but she won’t tell.

After all, Eric’s health is much more important now than who knows what, and Bridget suggests to Donna to have Dr. Colby bring her in on the case.

That way Eric can be kept out of the loop and the matter be doctor to doctor, no trouble for Donna-and Bridget can provide family history of anything genetic.

That makes a good and sensible reason for Bridget to have been brought into the loop-but she will try to talk sense into Eric after he knows she knows.
