Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Leaves Prison Changed Forever!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) is once again serving time in prison. Although the first time was for a crime he didn’t commit, this time Lucas is taking responsibility for kidnapping Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) although he didn’t want to own up to the crime at first.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers Highlights

He seems to be doing as well as could be expected, even though Orpheus (George DelHoyo) at one point tried to get Lucas, an alcoholic, to drink within the prison walls. Lucas pretended to get drunk in order to trap Orpheus but little has been seen of him since.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton Needs To Grow Up!

Even though he did take the blame for shooting EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) years ago it was actually Lucas’ son Will Horton (Chandler Massey) who committed the crime.

But other than that, Lucas has never been one to take responsibility for his own actions. Instead, he has typically relied on his mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) to get him out of trouble or face any type of punishment for his actions.

This time he eventually took full responsibility for kidnapping Sami, which is a huge step in the right direction. However, kidnapping Sami entailed a jail sentence which Lucas is now serving.

DOOL Spoilers – Lucas Horton Lost Sami Brady Forever!

Not only will Lucas serve his prison sentence but he has lost Sami forever. He will certainly pay the price for his actions. When Lucas eventually does get released, it will be a completely different environment.

His children are furious at him for what he did to their mother, as they should be. Lucas will have to make a living with yet another mark on his criminal record.

He will have the love and support of his sister Jennifer Horton (Cady McLain) but other than that, he’s going to experience a whole new environment than he is used to. Jennifer doesn’t live in Salem any longer, so that means Lucas will only have his mother.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton Will Find A Newfound Maturity!

Prison will certainly harden Lucas. He won’t be the same mama’s boy he was before. In addition, he won’t rely on Kate to solve all of his problems. He will also have a new found maturity.

Not to say that he won’t make mistakes but prison may be the best thing to happen to Lucas. That may be a strange thing to say about anyone, but Lucas has skated by for far too long. Look for Lucas to emerge from prison a much better man than the person he was.

What Do You Think?

Will Lucas serve his full prison sentence? Will prison change Lucas? Or will he continue to rely on Kate to get him out of trouble

Anything can happen in Salem so stay tuned to Days of Our Lives streaming every weekday on Peacock. And don’t forget to check back right here regularly for all your Days of Our Lives news, information and spoilers!
