The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally Not Fully Committed To Nick – Is Adam Her Future?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had what seemed like a warm dinner with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Viewers wondered while that happened if she would have agreed to do so if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was not out of town on another business trip.

Nick’s business priorities shifted in recent weeks. No longer an executive at Newman Enterprises or part of the short-lived Adustus and later SNA Media, Nick is now helping Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) run Kirsten Incorporated.

Meanwhile, Adam appears to be pursuing redemption. Whether that effort has since come into question when Sally recently approached him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Film Noir Flashback Sequences Were Well Done

Adam was knocking back another drink at the Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) jazz lounge, which is located inside the Genoa City Athletic Club.

That thoughtful gift was provided by the just-returned head of Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), as part of GC’s two hundred-fiftieth anniversary celebration.

Grossman’s character reflected upon a recent conversation he had with his father at the new penthouse Adam moved to.

During that sit-down Victor told his youngest son he would be impressed if Adam is being sincere about wanting to make amends by, in part, working an entry-level position at the family business.

Later, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) reflected on a tense exchange she had with Victor. That dialogue involved him telling his daughter that he was retaking the reigns because he wanted to.

Both sequences showed flashbacks in black and white which were different from the different-hued natural color reflections that are normally shown and were well done.

Sally has used people in the past, dating back to her days on sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful. But Nick does not fall into that category.

She is genuinely fond of him and appears to have been willing to create a lasting relationship with Nick. But love is not forced and if that range of infinite and often undefinable emotions are pushed, bad results generally occur.

Nick was initially cautious about becoming involved with Sally because he knew she retained feelings for Adam. That was later reinforced by her becoming pregnant with Adam’s child, Ava Hope, whom they lost in a recent miscarriage.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Can Make Progress If He Is Honest

Forcing the issue is Adam’s expertise. He played mind games, manipulated outcomes, and created havoc for those who supported him, including Sally, Nick, and Victor.

If Adam is being sincere in his attempt to be a better family member and friend, then he will likely succeed at Newman Enterprises, with the Newman family, and Sally.

But it will take a lot of effort and the acceptance that some people will not be inclined to ever give Adam the benefit of the doubt due to the many moral crimes he committed without remorse. Yet, Sally appears to be one of the few people who, like Sharon, sees the goodness in Adam on Y&R.
