Deacon had tried to back out of his relationship with Sheila when his daughter, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) unexpectedly knocked on his door-Sheila had to rush into the bathroom to hide.

Deacon didn’t want to lose his relationship with his daughter and grandchild and Sheila is pushing to have one with hers, and hers marriage is breaking up over her.

If Hope finds out he’s having a relationship with Sheila, he could lose his family as sure as John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) losing his.

Deacon doesn’t want to lie to Hope and Finn’s being pushed to end things with Sheila for good, if not indeed Sheila herself.

How would Sheila and Deacon continue to keep their love a secret with so much family in common? Finn’s wife, who’s having problems with him having a relationship with his mother is the sister of the man Deacon’s daughter Hope is with now.

And everyone’s against Hope and Thomas being together but even more so against Finn having a relationship with Sheila-even Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is telling Finn to ditch Sheila.

It’s the only way Finn will get Steffy back, and both Taylor and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) are trying to break up Thomas and Hope, with Thomas making Hope happy!
