The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) wanted to reunite with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) when he returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin. After much uncertainty, his dream was realized.

Hearing Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) accept Tucker’s best man proposal was like listening to piano jazz at the Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge in the Genoa City Athletic Club.

Devon referring to Tucker as his dad, during the intense conversations Ashley, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) had shortly after the remarriage ceremony ended, was also a nice moment.

Tucker recently talked about having traveled halfway around the world after he left GC more than a decade ago in real-time. To that past, more distant point in the plot, he did not live a life that allowed him to learn about moral principles.

So, Tucker chased worldly goals which translated to old-fashioned self-satisfaction. In so doing, he alienated his then-first-time wife, Ashley, and had a rocky relationship with Devon, who he was just getting to know.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Devon Hamilton Winters’ Support Remains Vital

Tucker was thrilled to meet his grandson, Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Devon recognized Tucker’s joyful demeanor while in Dom’s presence was not faked.

Devon and Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) offered their home, the Chancellor mansion, to host Tucker and Ashley’s remarriage ceremony.

That gesture could be a watershed moment depending upon how James’ and Ordway’s characters interpret the eventual reveal of the plan to have Simply Ashley take control of Jabot.

Tucker appears to be gambling that Devon will not be put off. Ashley seems to be making the same calculation about Abby.

Ashley Abbott’s Unresolved Feelings

Ashley is physically attracted to Tucker. She also has fun with him when her guard is not raised.

But she harbors resentment because he was involved with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). However, Tucker’s strategy to oust Diane from Jabot, likely along with Jack, played well.

The range of feelings Ashley has about Tucker can not be wished away. How she resolves them, assuming she does, remains a fluid question, which Tucker senses on Y&R.
