Recently, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) found herself scrambling where her job at Newman Media is concerned.

Thanks to some old and bad history Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was blackmailing her with, she was worried that if the truth came out about what she covered up during her days at McCall, her career at Newman and in Genoa City, possibly around the globe, would be over.

Some advice from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to go directly to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) helped to smooth things over, but is there a bigger storyline on the horizon?

Y&R spoilers for the week of August 28th state Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will hand Ms. Charles over a risky assignment.

During a recent conversation Audra had with the Moustache and his Missus at the Ranch revealed that Victor was quite impressed with the way Charles always grabbed the bull by the horns and was not afraid to talk about or address her intention with Newman Media.

Meanwhile, Nikki was rather disgusted by the young opportunist, worried she’d be a liability to the company, due to her scheming ways.

Is there a deeper storyline between Audra and the Newmans brewing?

The Young And The Restless Updates – Romance, Mutual Respect, Or Possible Family Ties?

The idea of Audra and Victor possibly having a romantic relationship would make almost everyone’s stomach turn; however, this is the land of Genoa City, and the shock value of it all may be enticing for the show’s producers.

Then again, there may just be a mutual respect that grows between Audra and the Moustache. The two could become scheming partners, and because he’s willing to “show her the ropes”, this might cause plenty of jealousy from his children and grandchildren, especially Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).

Then again, could Audra be an illegitimate child of his, maybe a niece or unknown grandchild? This could certainly complicate things for all the Newmans if this happened, especially Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)! #gross
