While the couple separated weeks ago, Mr. Abbott seemed adamant that he wanted to dissolve his marriage to Super Girl.

Y&R spoilers state that the scene showing Summer on a rollercoaster (and embracing it) last week likely foreshadowed a lot about the fresh new “ride” she’s on. As a shadow of her former self, she’s struggled the past few months and made some major mistakes.

Still, it seems like Ms. Newman-Abbott no longer wants to play the victim. She’s ready to take accountability for her actions and move on, which is likely why she took the bull by the horns and asked for a divorce.

She’s not happy that her marriage is over, but she’s taking an “it is what it is” attitude. By not begging for Kyle to be back, she may have him wanting her even more in the weeks to come.

The Young and the Restless Updates – Audra Charles Is Losing Her Shine

Kyle jumped into bed a relationship fast and furiously with Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver). He not only ditched the idea of a reunion with Summer but also left the family company for Newman Enterprises to join his new gal pal.

Still, there’s so much Kyle doesn’t know about Audra. She’s great in bed, and a savvy businesswoman, but is she loyal, trustworthy, and a “good” person, overall? Those last three qualities are very doubtable in Audra.

If push came to shove, would Audra stand up for Kyle at Newman or would she throw him under the bus? Abbott may learn the hard way that Ms. Charles is not a person to align with for the long term.

Getting burned by Audra may make a reunion with Summer that much more alluring.
