She knows that Victor wants to keep his eyes on her because she is important to Nick. But the Moustache also acknowledged, as much as he could, that Sally has not proven to be a gold-digger.

Victor empathized with Sally having lost his grandchild. She appreciated his show of support and generosity in tapping her to join his family business.

Adam is in the back of Nick’s mind. Morrow’s character was greatly bothered when learning Adam was the father of Sally’s expected first child.

However, Sally was fully open about the circumstances that led to Adam’s paternity. She was also insistent that his place in Ava’s anticipated life on this earth did not change her feelings for Nick.

Sally continues to make it clear that Nick is the man she wants in her future. Adam is said to be part of her past but the miscarriage changed the dynamic of their connection in ways that still can not be measured.

Adam Newman Holding Himself Back

Adam’s plan to effectively take over Newman Media hit at least a major snag or has been derailed. Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) reveal to Victor, about Adam blackmailing her, giving Victor needed intel.

So, Adam’s efforts to channel his pent-up energy through Adustus will likely be stymied. Assuming that happens, it is fair to believe he will revisit efforts to reconnect with Sally.

She currently has no desire to reconcile with Adam. Whether the intensity of Sally’s initial connection with Adam proves strong enough to create a revival is uncertain. But this is daytime where feelings can change swiftly, especially with these restless characters on Y&R.
