The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is feeling the pressure his siblings are applying to him. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) are playing games with each other while believing he must pick a side.

Meanwhile, Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) followed Traci Abbot’s (Beth Maitland) example. Ordway’s character got her uncle Jack to agree to talk with Ashley.

Traci’s stern talk to Jack and Ashley created a temporary truce in the recent past. Maitland’s character invoked their father’s name (John Abbott, played by Jerry Douglas) in an attempt to force reconciliation.

Ashley’s beef is not with Jack. She distrusts Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) so much that Ashley was willing to ally with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

But the seemingly powerful trio failed in its mission to convince various people, including Jack, that Diane’s return to the living in Genoa City, Wisconsin, was bad. Jack, in particular, became a brazen champion of Diane and recently married her.

So, it remains to be seen how Abby’s good intentions will help her mother to change her mind. Ashley is telling Abby that she no longer wants to battle with Jack, but the viewers know Davidson’s character and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) wants Billy to align himself with them.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Jack Abbott Believes Tucker McCall Is A Con Man

Jack reiterated to Abby his inability to understand why Ashley does not realize Tucker has not changed. He still sees St. John’s character as a con man.

Ashley was not drawn to Tucker when he initially returned to GC. She was more suspicious than Jack. However, Tucker has proven useful and fully supports Ashley’s perception of Diane.

Abby tried telling Jack that she believes Tucker has changed. But those words went in one of Jack’s ears and out the other. Like his sister, he is basing his instinct on supposed logic when the topic is emotionally subjective.

Billy Abbott Can Engineer Outcome

Jack and Ashley trust Billy. But Ashley will turn on Billy if she learns he is secretly working with Jack and Diane.

However, Ashley and Tucker provided Billy with an intriguing option. He could take their offer to spy on Jack on Diane and use that as a means to engineer an outcome that benefits all parts of the Abbott family and Jabot on Y&R.
