The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Abby Is Right – Tucker Longs For Remarriage, But Ashley Does Not

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) caught onto her mother’s act in recent weeks. Then, during an intended chat about Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) intended upcoming nuptials, Abby recognized that her mother is committing the same act as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is being accused of. It also appears that remarriage plans are not Ashley’s priority.

Abby told Ashley that she believes Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) are in love. Proof of that goes beyond their recent marriage at the courthouse but Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) believe it is a sham.

What Ashley and her possibly intended second-time husband do not realize is that Jack and Diane are in love, and they want to fight for Jabot. The points are not exclusive.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Is Overestimated?

Ashley can not be swayed from believing that Diane is going to be the run of Jabot. She feels Jack is blind to the doom his new bride represents.

All of Ashley’s fretting could be lessened by pointing out that Jabot is not in a tailspin because no terrible quarterly profits or dire financial projections seem to exist. However, Diane did recently gain an influential position in the company.

She suggested Jack promote her to the newly invented Chief Talent Officer (CTO) spot. That specific role should have Diane making C-suite decisions that will impact the cosmetics company.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Tucker McCall Gets His Best Man

While Ashley and Abby were debating in one section of the Chancellor mansion’s living room, Tucker was sealing another personal deal under the shadow of the oil-based portrait of his mother, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). He was nervous about asking Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to be his best man considering their history and because enough time has not passed for him to have earned his son’s trust back.

Devon responded to Tucker by accepting the offer. He told his biological father that he can see the change in him. That brought a wide smile to Tucker’s face and the men embraced.

This part of the storyline continues to feel good. Hopefully, Tucker and Devon’s relationship continues to strengthen. There are plenty of good plot possibilities that can be pursued if it does.

Billy Abbott And Phyllis Summers Working Behind The Scenes

Billy is currently tasked as a double agent. He is pretending to be against Jack’s inclusion of Diane in Jabot’s power structure while being in league with them.

It is problematic that Ashley will ask Billy to work an angle on her behalf. If he accepts, Billy would presumably be a triple agent.

Meanwhile, if Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) efforts to secure Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) help work, Tucker will be impacted. That means Ashley would be affected as well on Y&R.
