The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will maintain his measured stance.

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is teased to be emotionally impacted by what happens at her daughter’s birthday party and uses that as motivation to try again with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

The recent dramatics, where Liam’s catch of the kisses Hope gave to Thomas in Rome, Italy, led to a quickie divorce decision. Liam’s request was honored when Hope surprisingly presented him with the paperwork.

Their signatures reflected a lack of thoughtfulness. Both people were acting on impulse. But their decision to consider reconciliation comes during a period when Hope and Liam are lacking critical information about each other.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Took His Cue

Thomas was overwhelmed when Hope grabbed and kissed him, twice, during the euphoria of the post-fashion event in Italy. Liam arrived too late to see Forrester Creations’ success but just in time to witness his wife kissing a man he considers a mortal enemy.

Digitally skipping to when everyone returned home to Los Angeles, California, Hope and Liam hastily agreed to a legal break. Hope’s run to Thomas’ new place included her telling him she and Liam were done.

Proof of Thomas’ steadying himself in recent months included truthfully telling Hope he did not want to create trouble in her marriage.

So, her news of the official divorce allowed Thomas’ conscience to be clear when they officially started their romantic relationship.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Liam Spencer Does Not Know

Liam was not considering reconciliation when believing Hope and Thomas were just kissing. Clifton’s character also shifted his focus to another woman, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), in direct response to what happened with Hope.

An attempt to seek hope, meaning Liam’s desire to believe in what was possible, rather than his wife’s first name or the first word in the name of her division at Forrester Creations, allowed Steffy to regain center stage.

But Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) spoke for the viewers when he challenged his brother, telling Liam that he was reverting to the triangle that was seen on B&B for many years.

Yet Liam lacked knowledge of Hope’s cavort with Thomas, which surely would have cut any reunion thoughts off.

Hope Spencer Does Not Know, Either

Eavesdropping is a common plot technique that is used in the daytime. It allows one or more characters to gain knowledge that allows the plot to be pushed forward when it otherwise would glide more slowly.

Hope’s optimism about reconciling with Liam would be eviscerated if she heard Liam tell Steffy he regretted ever letting her go and promised to protect her always if he had a do-over. But Hope is not aware of that news yet.

Hardcore fans can see the setup. Hope lets Thomas down gently. He responds maturely and graciously and appears to set himself up for Hope’s later return when she and Liam gain full intelligence on each other’s actions on B&B.
