General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: TJ And Molly Are Having A Baby – Will They Choose A Stranger Over Kristina?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Molly Lansing Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) have decided they’re both ready to have a baby by whatever means necessary to make it happen. TJ is still grieving over his uncle’s accident; Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is paralyzed, and TJ holds himself somewhat responsible, however irrationally. Likewise, Molly is still very much grieving the loss of the journey to motherhood she thought she was going to live through. But they both know it’s best to get on with their plans because it could take a while for surrogacy and a resulting baby to happen. But Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) isn’t likely to take the news well that they’re planning on parenthood without her playing a role at all.

Molly hasn’t had the nerve to tell Kristina how she really feels. Despite working through her own emotions about how it would make her feel to see another woman pregnant with TJ’s child, Molly still doesn’t think Kristina is the right person for the job. Sure, it would have been great to have her own DNA in the mix, but not at the cost of jeopardizing her relationship with her sister or risking Kristina overstepping the boundaries Molly needs in place to be okay with this experience.

General Hospital Updates – Kristina Corinthos Davis’ Offer Was Compelling – Until It Wasn’t

TJ and Molly are definitely on the same page. They’ve talked about wanting kids before, but things have changed. Now, they’re both eager to have a baby as soon as possible. When Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) expressed her concerns about Kristina having the capacity to let go of the baby she carried and gave birth to — a baby that was biologically hers with TJ — Molly saw things much more clearly. She agreed with her mom that it’s too risky, but Kristina may not think so, and she won’t like that her family decided this for her behind her back.

What Comes Next?

Molly and TJ have already met with the surrogacy company which could facilitate the whole process for them. Choosing an egg donor should be easy breezy, but Molly will likely have far more stipulations to it than TJ will. The more she mulls it over, the more she might reconsider using her sister’s egg. At the same time, she may be worried that Kristina wouldn’t know how to let go. If Krissy can convince TJ and Molly to gamble with the future of their family that way, do they deserve whatever she throws back at them if it turns out she can’t cope with the reality of her nephew or niece actually being her son or daughter?
