General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal it’s been rather unclear who was really after whom the day Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got shot. All we know for certain is that he wasn’t the intended target.

What bum luck, right?! Rather, it is suspected that either Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) were supposed to be taken out that day.

When someone takes another strike at Anna, it’ll be all too clear that Sonny isn’t who they’re after. That being said, it certainly doesn’t mean he’s in the clear — and Anna will have to contend with her personal feelings for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) if she wants to keep her longtime friend safe.

We don’t know yet how it’ll play out but word on the street is that Anna is still in danger. Someone is going to make another attempt on her life, potentially before she’s ever had a chance to prepare to lure them out into the open. Of course, while she’s working to do so, she may be more tapped into who she thinks is guilty of coming after her than she’s letting on.

General Hospital Updates – Vanna Is Over?

Anna is slowly putting the pieces together and she’s reluctantly starting to realize she is about to find herself in uncomfortably familiar territory.

The last time she learned someone she cared about was actually a bad guy — with Peter August (awes Ramsey) — she wasn’t quick to turn him in or turn on him.

This time around, knowing Valentin may have a hand in taking her down is going to break her heart. Will she let it destroy her before she can pay him back?

Sonny Corinthos Is In The Dark?

Anna knows all eyes must be on her, and she’s not going to clue Sonny in on what she suspects until she absolutely has to.

She loves Valentin and doesn’t want him harmed, even if it means playing this game of cat and mouse a bit longer to get the proof she needs that he is involved.

Telling Sonny too soon could risk everything. But she knows better than to go completely rogue at this stage and may loop Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in on her theory just to make sure he has not just her back but Sonny’s too.

It appears the attempts on Sonny’s and Anna’s lives were very separate incidents that are intricately connected — and Anna intends to lure the truth out into the light.
