General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Is Carly Spencer’s Storyline With Kelly’s Believable?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest things could be looking up for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Sure, her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is locked up in prison with a release date set for three years from now, and their SEC insider trading charges really turned their lives upside down.

Still, now that mom Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) gifted her Kelly, this new chapter in her life offers some hope.

But is this storyline believable?

General Hospital Spoilers – Some Parts Seem Okay …

Bobbie selling Kelly’s to Carly for $1 is absolutely believable. A good mom will do all she can to help her children, even well into adulthood.

Bobbie loves Carly and would do anything to assist her during this hard time. Besides, it’s also very believable that Carly will repay her mother when she’s back on her feet.

It’s also believable that Kelly has given Carly a new lease on life. Losing the Metro Court was a huge blow to Ms. Spencer on so many levels. Focusing on a new project will keep her distracted from Drew not being around, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) marrying Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

It’s also believable that the former co-owner of the Metro Court can find similarities in running that business and place them onto revamping Kelly’s.

General Hospital Updates – Elements That Are Too Over The Top

Carly stated in a recent episode that she may be able to keep her house (and not sell it) if Kelly’s sales continued the way they were going. First off, the transaction just occurred some weeks ago (if that), and it’s hard to believe that any change Carly incorporated from the get-go would see results so soon, whether they are minor or major.

Plus, being an entrepreneur in America can be a lucrative career choice, but Carly owes SEC $5 million dollars. Even if she was able to pay half of the fine without selling her and Sonny’s old house, it’s hard to believe that Kelly’s, a local diner, could create an income stream that would not only sustain her lifestyle but also pay off a debt that heavy.
