General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: As Anna Seeks Comfort With Sonny, Nina Returns To Her Former Flame

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have never been good at being enemies.

Their friendship predates either of their romantic relationships by far, and the mutual respect they’ve maintained despite being from very different worlds has only added to it.

Now that Anna suspects Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may be working against her with the WSB, she is trying to cope with the grief that is bubbling up and telling her their relationship is doomed.

Meanwhile, Sonny will soon learn that Valentin was instrumental in leading Pikeman to him and did so on purpose to take his organization apart, bit by bit.

Without any apparent path forward with Valentin, it stands to reason that Anna might find herself feeling safest and most comforted by Sonny. But will he break ties with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and fall for the former WSB agent?

The months ahead are sure to leave many fans in the lurch as Anna and Valentin careen toward disaster and Nina tries to hang onto a relationship she’s not in love with for the sake of proving Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wrong; she can be the type of woman Sonny requires to be by his side!

As Sonny’s disappearing act lends way to suspicion on Nina’s end that he’s up to more than just tending to the business in the middle of the night, the truth may finally reveal itself that he’s developed a fondness for Anna that extends beyond friendship.

General Hospital Updates – Nina Reeves Lands Back At Ava Jerome’s

If Sonny is stepping out on Nina, leave it to her to be the one graveling at his feet in hopes that she can convince him to stay.

Nina is nothing if not desperate to avoid rejection. Lacking gumption and having little in the way of self-worth after all that she’s done, Nina may find herself slinking back to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) place instead of lingering around Sonny’s pad — where he’s never to be found.

But the more that it seems Ava is keen on saying “I told you so,” and the more it seems Ava has grown an affection for Sonny more so than her pal Nina, the more Nina might find herself feeling like the odd man out who doesn’t fit in anywhere anymore. Enter her knight in shining armor — Valentin.

Valentin Cassadine Is Up To His Old Tricks

Valentin lost Nina once, and he may be prepared to take a gamble at getting her back if he can prey on her vulnerabilities at just the right time.

She’ll be weak, heartbroken, and possibly looking for a place to stay that isn’t the Metro Court. She needs an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on.

Valentin could be the perfect partner to commiserate with when he feels he has lost Anna to Sonny, giving little credit to his own actions that led her toward anyone but him.

Nina is good at playing that game, too. Might their shared interest in blaming everyone else for their mistakes lead these former flames back into each other’s arms?
