The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rena Sofer Shares Sad News

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, news, and updates reveal that Rena Sofer lost Princess Carolyn, their chihuahua dog.

Princess Carolyn was an elder dog that Rena was supposed to foster but eventually adopt. Rena has been an advocate for adopting pets. She also fosters animals who are looking for families that will eventually adopt them. Rena as an advocate of pet adoption and fostering

According to her social media, Rena and her family fostered Princess Carolyn during the COVID pandemic, but the fostering eventually failed as they decided to keep her permanently as part of their “pack.” She posted her last December to introduce her to her followers.

Losing Princess Carolyn

In the announcement, Rena said that Princess crossed the rainbow bridge to be with Lola and Iggy, the other pets they lost. Although Princess isn’t able to meet those two pets, Rena thinks they will welcome her warmly.

She said that Princess was everyone’s favorite. Princess was with them for four years as she was adopted as an elder dog. Again, Rena took this chance to advocate for adopting dogs or fostering when possible. She encouraged everyone to open their homes and foster or adopt dogs or animals who need safe places to live, including the older ones like Princess Carolyn.
She said that Princess was a great gift to her family. And she added that she hoped she was proud of them.

Rena has been sharing her animal fostering journey on social media. Fostering pets means temporarily taking care of them until they find their permanent home. There are a lot of dogs or animals getting abandoned that need permanent homes.

Rena is encouraging everyone to adopt because there are a lot of animals that need homes already. So, instead of supporting pet shops or kennels that often exploit pets for a larger profit, it is better to adopt pets who are in need.

A Lot Of People Expressed Their Condolences To Rena

A lot of people expressed their condolences to Rena, including her former Bold & Beautiful co-stars, Karla Mosely and Annika Noelle.

Some animals are being put down because some animal shelters are not well-funded to keep these animals longer. So, they are relying on volunteers to foster these animals and on families that are willing to adopt these animals permanently. We can help these animals who are about to be put down by volunteering or advocating for adoption instead of shopping for pets.
