General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) has been pretty clear regarding how he feels about everyone treating him like he’s supposed to ignore his own logic and feelings in favor of pretending to be someone he isn’t. The problem is, they want him to be who he is. With Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) on hiatus for who knows how long, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is going through the motions and grieving the loss of her husband, despite him still being alive. No matter how much she pleads with him, Eddie can’t make himself feel something for Olivia that he doesn’t. But it turns out he may not have the same struggle with his son, Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda).

When Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) convinced Neddie to come back to the Q mansion with him and try to help soothe the aftershock of Leo’s meltdown, he thought he was doing the right thing. But Olivia wanted no part of it at first. When Eddie sat down and delivered some much-needed honesty to Leo, his son clapped back with inquisitive questions to test Eddie’s knowledge. His answers served as proof for Leo that Eddie was indeed not his father. Leo seemed to accept the news far better than Olivia has. In return, Eddie seemed to really enjoy his conversation with Leo and was intrigued by how bright the young man was.

In the midst of grieving for her husband who is off playing beats on every corner in Port Charles, Olivia will find a new way to channel her nervous energy into something — or rather, someone — else. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has just been stabbed. While Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) will have to pay the price for her actions, Cody is also paying a price — and Mama Q isn’t about to let him iron his own. The stables are clearly superior to any other barn in the county, but it’s no place to recover from a knife wound with stitches.

Neddie Takes Notice

When Eddie decides to take Olivia up on her offer to let him stay in the stables, it’ll be quite convenient so she can use that as an excuse to move Cody into the mansion where she can tend to his wounds and see to it that he isn’t overdoing it as he recovers. The more time she spends with Cody, the more Eddie is going to take notice of it in a way that leaves him wondering why he cares.
