Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that if Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) goes to Bayview, he could encounter Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Considering the two actors had good chemistry on General Hospital, where they were lovers and then best friends, might it work to have Harris hook up with Ava?

Sometimes it’s the actors who have chemistry no matter which roles they play, but other times it’s the characters and the way they are written. Just because GH’s Jason Morgan had chemistry with Tamara’s version of GH’s Carly, it doesn’t mean it will work with Harris and Ava. A Navy Seal and a Mafia princess seem like an odd couple, although Harris’ calm demeanor could calm Ava’s crazy down.

Even if they don’t hook up, Harris might befriend Ava-and he might make her feel safe. And don’t forget there’s another couple of crazies in Bayview-Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) Harris might actually keep Ava safe!

DOOL Spoilers: Harris Michaels Wanted To Be In Bayview For Protection From Him

Harris had wanted Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to put him in Bayview because he didn’t trust Marlena’s hypnosis really freed him from the programming. He didn’t want to hurt any more people because of some hypnotic suggestion Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) or Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) put in his head. Instead, he bonds with Ava, seeing her as someone who’s fragile and needs his protection and keeps her safe from others-finding out that she had gone insane from grief. Harris now has a purpose and Ava, a protector, and a friend who’ll ride or die with her no matter what and Harris feels good about himself again.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: A Mutually Healing Connection

Instead of hooking up-which would be difficult in a mental health facility, although Jan managed it-Harris and Ava develop a mutually healing connection. Harris feels like a hero again and Ava feels protected and cared for, so it’s a win-win for both of them. Ava was in terrible mental and emotional shape after her desperate grief over Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) being killed literally in her arms.

Harris couldn’t forgive himself for things he did under the influence of brainwashing, so with Ava he has a do-over being her protector. For Ava, she has someone she can trust who will never judge her or abuse her trust; the two are good for each other.
