The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) took what his youngest sister said to heart. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) also was affected by Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) speech.

Abbott family reunification was Traci’s goal. She knows that all hearts are not instantly healed. But by referencing the father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), Traci hoped to remind Jack and Ashley that problems can be overcome through love.

Jack has genuinely fallen back in love with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). That was no easy road because of her revealed murder hoax.

Devoted fans recall Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) defended Jack when Diane first announced her existence in Los Angeles, California. Jack was smitten with Phyllis at that point in the plot, hoping to reconcile with her through to remarriage.

Phyllis instantly sensed that Diane’s return was trouble. She aligned herself with Ashley and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). That trio made numerous unsuccessful attempts to derail Diane.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Ashley Abbott Using Tucker McCall?

Ashley has feelings for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). But she does not exhibit the same level of lovey-doveyness that Jack does with Diane.

While Jack made Diane re-earn his trust, Ashley played hard to get. Davidson’s character more recently allowed Tucker to move into the mansion. But Tucker remains uncertain if Ashley cares deeply for him or is just using him to get Jack and Diane’s goats.

Diane Jenkins And Tucker McCall Take Control?

It is easy to see a scenario where Diane is given the Chief Talent Officer position that she asked Jack about at Jabot. If he marries his fiance, Diane likely will be promised a Board set as well.

Ashley sees farther ahead than her brother. So, she has been preparing for boardroom battles. Blocking Diane’s quest for power at Jabot requires numbers, as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sternly told Ashley.

If Ashley allows Tucker to marry her, then he could also be put up for a Jabot Board seat. Whether she has enough backing to make that happen remains unknown.

Even if they agree not to be so loud about their sibling rivalry, Tucker will likely not have Jack’s vote and Diane will not have Ashley’s. Great soap would see all four characters together in the mansion and at Jabot on Y&R.
