The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) said that the one woman he never got over was Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). But B&B fans, along with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), know that another unforgettable woman was added to Deacon’s list in recent months.

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) made Deacon’s blood run cold when she sat aside him at the Il Giordino bar. She foresaw a friendship and then worked to make it more.

Fans of classic songs caught the Steely Dan reference in this article’s title. For the uninitiated, the combination jazz and rock band was founded in the early 1970s and survives to this day.

One of the group’s hits was Deacon Blues, from its 1977 album, Aja. Another was Peg, which eclipsed Deacon Blues on the hit chart.

The lyrics of Deacon Blues relate to what lead singer and writer, Donald Fagen, called a loser. In the song, an outsider, who sees himself as a loser, dreams of a better life.

Kanan’s character lived a doomed life for years before his early release from prison. But if B&B’s Deacon reverts to type, his current success as the now-owner of Il Giardino will vanish.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Brooke Logan Is Not Interested

Brooke has sworn off Ridge. She agreed to a pact with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), where both ladies are trying not to re-couple with the man that they both love.

So, being single, Deacon is talked into making another pitch to Brooke. Taylor’s motives are tied to her admitted desire to eventually reconcile with Ridge, despite the pact with Brooke.

But buzz indicates that Brooke is not interested in Deacon’s latest attempt to woo her and will share romantic moments with Ridge during an upcoming fashion-based trip to Italy.

Sheila Carter Is Not Free Yet

Meanwhile, in lockup, Sheila is attempting to think her way out of a confessed murder that was captured during surveillance. She retains hope that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will agree to take her case and use his just-revealed legal experience and influence to earn a release from prison.

But if Sheila’s attempts do not work, she will still have Deacon. He still has the blues because they can not be together.

So, with his next effort to get Brooke destined to fail, Deacon will have the other woman he loves on his mind. Despite his progress in the past year-plus, Kanan’s character may be darkly destined to reconnect with Sheila on B&B.
