Little People, Big World spoilers reveal that fans are curious as to why Matt Roloff is now asking his fans for money on social media. This week, he shared a GoFundMe page for Natalia Grace. Who is Natalia? Recently, she appeared in a documentary about how she was an orphan from Ukraine who was adopted by American parents back in 2010. Her adoptive parents thought that she was six years old when they adopted her, but she was really 21! Her adoptive parents also told the police and press that she was trying to harm them and they even felt that she would have killed them. She eventually had to go out and live on her own as an adult and now she is living in Indiana. Why is Matt trying to help her though? Let’s find out more.
When fans spotted Matt showing support for Natalia, they were shocked. He shared the link to the GoFundMe and wrote, “Hello everyone.. I was very touched by the story on Natalia Grace (google it). For those that don’t know she has the same type of rare Dwarfism as me. A variant of Diastrophic dysplasia. You can help her and her new family on this go fund me link. Let’s help get the new van and send them on a fun vacation.” Fans were appalled that he would share a link to help someone go on vacation instead of having life-changing surgery or paying medical bills. His followers were quick to share what they thought about his post.
The comments weren’t all very kind and many of his followers pointed out that Natalia used a family and pretended to be a child. They added that they thought this was in very poor taste, no matter what disability she has.
The comments section went crazy after Matt shared this link. One of his followers wrote, “If you were asking for a donation to a hospital where Natalia was to receive a much-needed surgery I would be on board, but, there is too much we don’t know about this family. Within a month they took over her SSD checks and food stamps. Do the people have jobs? Do they live off of the system? Why keep taking on kids you can’t afford? Maybe you could offer up your Big House on the farm that I believe I read you now rent out, I think that would be a fun affordable experience for that family, or the Arizona home that you don’t use year around. I think both would be a nice gesture instead of asking your followers (soon to not be a follower)for money.I have always loved watching and following you and Caryn but this was not a good character decision on your part just because you can relate to her disability.”
Another added, “I hope you got hacked. We’re not giving a con artist money. And you have more than enough to cover the costs.” A final fan added, “You are a multi-millionaire and you’re asking people to donate money. Most of the people who follow you live normal simple lives and actually work for a living. You buy her a vacation and a van.”
