Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is carrying a huge amount of guilt these days. Shawn had long ago accepted that his father, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) was dead and gone. But earlier this year, he was shocked to discover that Bo had been kept alive all these years by Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson). He barely had time to process this information when he discovered that Bo had been brainwashed and might very well kill his mother, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Shawn raced against time to get to his mother before his father could kill her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Bo Brady Planned To Kill Hope Brady!

When Hope found Bo, he was still under the effects of Megan’s brainwashing. But Hope finally got through to Bo, who by then had pulled a gun on her and was about to shoot. Shawn arrived at the last minute and shot Bo. Hope was devastated to finally get Bo back only to have him taken again. Although Bo is still alive, he remains in a coma and his prognosis is unclear. Hope told Shawn that there was no way he could have known she had gotten through to Bo, and she didn’t blame him for his current condition. Bo’s father, Victor Kiriakis (the late John Aniston) was not quite so understanding. He made it clear that he blamed Shawn.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Shawn Brady Can’t Overcome His Guilt!

Shawn blames himself for almost killing Bo, even though he’s been assured that it wasn’t his fault. But Shawn believes he deserves to feel bad and that he doesn’t deserve anything good in his life. He’s been drinking day and night and continues to ignore the advice of his wife, Belle Black (Martha Madison). Belle suggested that Shawn see a therapist, in particular Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). But Shawn angrily told her that he doesn’t want to feel better because he doesn’t deserve to.

Megan DiMera Will Soon Vanish!

Now that Megan is in Salem, she continues to make enemies right and left. Shawn recently confronted her at the DiMera mansion and threatened her. But Megan pulled out a gun and belittled Shawn. Harris Michael’s managed to diffuse the situation but Shawn’s anger toward Megan has only intensified. Megan won’t be in Salem much longer and will likely either vanish or be the victim of foul play. Shawn may believe that he is responsible, even if he blacks out from drinking. It’s very likely he could confess to whatever fate befalls Megan because he believes he deserved punishment. Whether Shawn is actually guilty or not is another story.
