Nicole has loved Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) for years and wanted nothing more than to be the one person who gave him the child he has wanted for years.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eric was disappointed when the test results said he was not the father of Nicole’s baby. Eric lost his child with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) because she had an abortion. Eric saw this as another opportunity to have a child but now that opportunity seems to be gone too. Will Eric ever get to be a father?

Nicole and Eric are friends. Nicole may keep Eric updated on everything happening with the baby just because she needs someone to talk to who understands. Eric knows how she has struggled to be a mother and that she only has Holly because of surrogacy. Eric truly hopes that Nicole can carry this baby to term no matter who the father is.

Nicole may be in a relationship with EJ but that doesn’t mean she loves him. Nicole simply knows that she and Eric cannot keep things going as a couple, they never work. Even when they were married, Eric left town instead of staying with her and Holly. However, Nicole may have seen this as an opportunity to reunite.

Why would Nicole and Eric be given a child if they weren’t meant to be together? Nicole may have seen this baby as a sign that they were supposed to reunite and that things would work out right this time. Both Eric and Nicole had difficulty hiding their disappointment at the thought of this baby belonging to someone else. Does Nicole even want to be with EJ?

Will A Twist Happen Down The Road?

Spoilers suggest that this baby will actually turn out to be Eric’s child. However, Eric or Nicole may be in the dark for some time. Could something happen once the child is born to make them need to repeat the DNA test? Perhaps EJ’s blood type doesn’t match or the baby has Eric’s heart condition. At some point, it is very likely to be revealed that the baby is Eric’s after all.

Where will Nicole and Eric be when the truth comes out? Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) rigged this test so that the baby would certainly not show up to be Eric’s.
