The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Summer Doubles Down On Phyllis, Convinces Daniel She Faked Her Death

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) decides to take a new approach when trying to convince her brother Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) that their mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is still alive. The last time they spoke Summer had a hard time explaining to Daniel that Phyllis had faked her death and the world of trouble she is in now that Jeremy Starke (James Hyde) is dead and she is the reason. Daniel wants to believe his sister but considering their mother’s “death” is still so fresh he thinks this is the way she is coping with it. Now that she has had some time to reflect on her meeting with her mother she may try to convince Daniel with a more level head.

Y&R Spoilers tease Daniel wants to believe his sister. He doesn’t want her to go through the same mental health struggles he has been battling so he could seek out help from those that love Summer most. Before he can talk with them though I am sure she will continue to tell the same story. Now that a few days have passed and she has had some time to really think about her meeting with Mom she may be able to convince him that she is still alive. I am sure that at first Daniel thought it was just a coping mechanism for dealing with her grief but as she isn’t as lucid and out of sorts as before she may be able to still tell him everything she has before and if her story stays consistent then he would have no choice but to believe her.

The Young And The Restless Updates – How Will Daniel Handle The Fact Phyllis Is Still Alive?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers hint Daniel could be torn on what to believe. He could think that the death has affected Summer more than people realize and he could turn to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to see if he will help her. I am sure Kyle would be blown away to know that Summer knows Phyllis is still alive and if Daniel goes to him, this could open up a way for Kyle to get his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), out of prison for the murder of Phyllis. Daniel may see that being a bad idea though, he doesn’t want to cause any more drama and animosity between the two so he could have a flashback to the memorial and remember a woman who looked an awful lot like his mother. That could spark the fire he needs to realize that Summer is right and Phyllis is still alive.
