The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Kyle’s Anger, Daniel’s Truth-Will He Tell Diane And Summer Phyllis Is Alive?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may not be able to hold in his anger over Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) truth. Daniel basically told him, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) what Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) told him, but took credit for it himself.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – It Was All Jeremy Stark’s Doing

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) revealed herself as alive to a devastated Summer and explained everything that happened. This had all been Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) idea, and the bodies had been from the morgue and she’d wound up killing Stark with scissors in self-defense. Obviously, Phyllis had to stay hidden and on the run, and Summer wasn’t even supposed to tell Daniel.

But, Summer had been so overwhelmed she had to tell someone, and that someone was Daniel. But, just as Phyllis feared, he couldn’t keep her secret and now, unbeknownst to Summer, he’s spilling the tea.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Jack Abbott And Michael Baldwin Reel

Jack and Michael reel as Daniel tells them nearly word for word what Summer had told him, and Kyle argues Summer needs to know. Kyle is also adamant that his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) needs to know, and Daniel says no, Summer would want to see her and he doesn’t know where she is. The visitation was totally random, and Michael agrees that they need to stay quiet until there is solid evidence Phyllis wasn’t burned up in the ambulance explosion. Michael knows this all could play out in different ways and affect many lives, so he wants to hold off. Jack also agrees they don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up prematurely, but Kyle feels Daniel’s claim is all they need, and wants to tell both Diane and Summer immediately.

Diane Jenkins Walks Into The Room

Just then, Diane walks into the room and interrupts their conversation, no one knows how much she’s heard. She assumes, however, that Daniel is there to check on Summer and expresses her condolences on Phyllis’ death. Daniel manages not to tell everything, but he does tell Diane that she’s not going to prison; she thanks him profusely for giving her hope.

After Diane leaves, Michael lays to Jack and Michael about not telling Diane the truth, but they emphasize the need for hard evidence. Kyle feels a moral dilemma but by the end of the week, Jack and he will look for the evidence themselves-not knowing exactly what but they’ll know when they find it.
