Y&R spoilers note that the relationship between Daniel and Lily is complicated. There are clearly sparks there, but the two keep flip-flopping about a romance. On one hand, Dily has a great friendship; however, they have crossed lines as of late. While they did spend a night together and have kissed, they aren’t placing any labels on their relationship and are still gearing towards remaining uncommitted, for the sake of their friendship.
Still, while Lily and Daniel navigate ever-so-slowly into this romance, if Daniel decides to refrain from heading to the authorities with what he knows about his mom, this will inevitably cause a massive wedge between him and Ms. Winters.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Dily Relationship Regresses

Daniel won’t purposely be “lying” to Lily, but keeping information about his mom will cause Daniel and his relationship/friendship with Winters to regress. He may become withdrawn and considering his past and what happened between him and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), Lily may feel as if she is seeing red flags.

Plus, this Phyllis news may interfere with the work and progress made for Omegasphere, which could undeniably create drama between Daniel and Lily. As mentioned in a recent scene between Lily and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), the video game project seems on point. Should things regress with the venture, as well as Romalotti’s behavior, Ms. Winters may be worried that Daniel’s dipping into his old habits. This would have her second-guessing any romantic intentions, plus, potential further working relationships.
