If Sharon’s cancer has in fact come back, this could send him into a tailspin that leaves Sally devastated.

While she has a blossoming romance with Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) she could push him out of her life when she is dealt a life-changing blow. I could see Sharon telling Chance that she doesn’t want this to impede on his life and she could cut ties before things can heat up between the two. She will have her family to lean on but they are also going through their own big changes so she wouldn’t want to take up any of their time so spending as much time as Crimson Lights could be what she chooses. I see her and Nick growing close as he opens up to her about his feelings about Sally and the baby. If they do grow close Sharon may open up to him and let him know what has happened with her. He could realize in this moment that he never stopped loving her and that she is the one he should be with.
