General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Nina’s Special Gift, Wants To Hold A Reception To Celebrate Willow’s Recovery And Wedding?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a special gift for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) if she’ll take it. Nina, filled with guilt over her whistleblower report, wants to hold a reception to celebrate Willow’s recovery and wedding.

General Hospital Spoilers – Overcompensating Much?

It would be perfectly okay for Nina to hold a party or reception to celebrate Willow’s recovery thanks to the bone marrow transplant from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). But she might be overcompensating by making it a wedding reception as well, to make up for the SEC agents ruining the first one by hauling off Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Nina hadn’t been invited to the wedding, and that’s why she impulsively called Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to turn Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in, in a snit.

Undoubtedly, everyone’s suspect, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was a convenient target-but what if further investigation proves he didn’t make the call? Nina thinks it shouldn’t since the report was anonymous, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is digging into it-meaning trouble!

General Hospital Updates – Suspicious Much?

Nina had considered coming clean to Willow, but not when she was in isolation waiting on the transplant-but she talked to Ava Jerome (Maura West) about it. Ava’s previous words about if it ever got back to Willow or Sonny haunt her-but now that Willow’s recovering, perhaps the truth wouldn’t hit so hard. But for now, she just wants to do something big, as a grand gesture, something to make up for her past bad behavior. The close call Willow had by waiting so long to take action, and then to have Liesl kidnapped the day before the procedure, makes her survival a miracle. Her survival and recovery are definitely something to celebrate, but Nina still wants to give her the wedding reception she didn’t get as well.

Nina Reeves Knows Timing Is The Key

Nina knows that timing is the key, and makes sure to broach the subject before any court dates would arise for Drew and Carly- who are hoping to avoid court. Their attorneys are doing their best to mount a defense that could just get the charges dropped entirely before it ever comes to that. Michael Corinthos (Chad Willow) wants to take Willow on a trip to Paris as well, so the timing needs to be right.

Now, Nina considers that the Metro Court may be a little ironic as the venue, but there’s no more Haunted Star and nowhere else to hold it. She can’t just ask to use the Quartermaine mansion after all, although she could ask Ava about Wyndemere; but will Willow accept her grand gesture gift-she won’t know until she asks.
