General Hospital (GH) Spoilers claim Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) just might decimate his relationship with his little sister, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) while he tries to safeguard his relationship with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was supposed to leave town after they brought Sonny to ruin, but then he fell in love with Joss. So, plans changed, and Michael felt he would be able to keep Dex’s name out of everything when he sent Sonny off to prison. Oops! He’s not doing that anymore. Now that Michael has decided he doesn’t want that fate for his pops, Dex is stuck trying to figure out where to go from here. Joss isn’t going to like this one bit.
It looks like Dex has a decision to make. Now that Michael has decided to let go of his revenge scheme against Sonny, there are only two paths left for Dex to choose from — hit the road or commit to being in the mob. However, Joss is not willing to give up on Dex and a future with him just yet. Typical Joss, stubborn as a mule, she’s going to spin her wheels until she figures out a third option. The problem? Dex might not actually want one. He’s been feeling rather at home in Sonny’s employ for a long time now, but he hasn’t had the nerve to tell his girlfriend. Will this force him to come out with the truth?
Dex’s decision to get involved with Joss and start a new life in Port Chuck may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but having to choose between her and the job he never knew he would love wasn’t what he had planned. Delivering the news to Joss is only the start of Dex’s battle. As Joss reacts in a typical teenage manner, he won’t be able to stop wondering if he’s wasting both of their time keeping his true feelings to himself. Dex kind of likes the mob life, but how can he tell Joss that without risking losing her?
Michael’s sudden interference has turned Joss’ world upside down, and Dex’s waffling feelings only complicate matters. While Sonny may be cool with their relationship, Joss can’t shake the discomfort she feels knowing that Dex works for the mob. She knows that lifestyle inside and out and it’s never what she wanted for herself. She hates not knowing if he’s safe and worrying that every time she sees him could be the last time. In her mind, any man she’s with must be completely free from the dangerous lifestyle she’s desperate to leave behind that her mother exposed her to. Promises made in the past are no longer enough for Joss.
She expects Dex to stay true to his word and leave it all behind. So when she proposes that they see the plan through without Michael’s involvement, it’s going to put Dex in a precarious position. He doesn’t want to hurt Sonny, and knowing that Michael doesn’t want to either make him feel a sense of relief he didn’t expect. Is sending Sonny to prison really better for Dex’s conscience than sticking it out in the mob? Besides, he likes it here. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead so you don’t miss a beat of this escalating storyline.
