Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: EJ Proposes, But Nicole Is Insulted?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) proposes to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) but she’s insulted. He makes his proposal right after hearing about Gabi Hernandez’ (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) engagement and the timing’s just not right!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Nicole Walker Knows About The Engagement

Of course, Nicole knows about Gabi and Stefan’s engagement, as in-your-face as they were about it so it doesn’t hit her right when EJ, who was there, proposes to her. It seems spur of the moment, and there’s no ring, no planning, and it comes across as EJ wanting to steal his brother’s engagement thunder. EJ actually loves Nicole and he’s very sincere in wanting to marry, but he admits he had terrible timing and meant it as a way to tell Nicole his love.

Nicole is hiding her own secrets, which won’t be secret for long, considering she lied to EJ about being pregnant. He had caught her with her prescription bottle of prenatal vitamins-and she hid the prescription, having told him she was in perimenopause.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Nicole Walker Has Her Reasons For Lying

Nicole has her reasons for lying, and there are a few people who know the truth-Dr. Kayla Johnson, (Mary Beth Evans) for one, did her pregnancy test. But that’s covered under doctor-patient confidentiality so she doesn’t have to worry about that-she also confided in Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley). More of a wildcard is Sloan Peterson’s (Jessica Serfaty) having seen her prenatal vitamins and figuring things out of course Nicole’s worried about that. What if Sloan tells Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about Nicole’s pregnancy and that the baby could be his – that’s why she didn’t accept EJ’s proposal? But she only admits it to her unborn baby, and that prompts her to the importance of telling the truth and getting a paternity test so everything is settled.

EJ DiMera Practices Patience

In the meantime, EJ determines to practice patience and not pressure Nicole into changing her mind and telling him “yes”, wanting to give her time to decide on her own. His love for her is one hundred percent genuine, and the first time he actually professed his love to her but she knows also he’s using the situation to his advantage. It was Nicole who called him out when he made that spur-of-the-moment marriage proposal and maybe his motives were ulterior subconsciously.

At least if EJ is patient and gives Nicole time and space to say yea or nay, he’ll know she’s ready or not to take that next important step with him. Maybe since she, as he, has been married and divorced so many times, she just wants to make sure to get it right.
