DOOL spoilers note that both Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be freed from prison the week of May 22nd. This means it’s only a matter of time before the slick new DiMera makes his way into town. He’s a schemer and a villain down to his core. He also happens to have two powerful families within his genes.

The land of Salem has some interesting single ladies that occupy the little town, but one that is suddenly single is Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). She’s been struggling to get over Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) who seems to have moved on to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Could Dimitri help heal her broken heart?

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Dimitri Will Accept Gwen For Who She Is

One of the biggest reasons it didn’t work for Gwen and Xandy was the fact that Kiriakis couldn’t accept Gwen for the little schemer she was. There was a time when the two embraced their nastiness, but when push came to shove, Gwen’s unethical antics turned Xander off. Sure, he was still not over Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and that’s the biggest reason he broke up with Gweny; however, now that he’s been spending time with Chloe, it’s clear that Rizczech and her schemer ways played a huge role in why he couldn’t and didn’t want to be with her.

Dimitri is no angel and will likely embrace Gwen’s “bad side”. She won’t have to be anyone but herself when she’s with him. After all, he’s far from perfect or an angel. Plus, he’ll probably then understand her complicated relationship with her parents, her past, maybe even the way she grew up, and why she is the way she is.
