The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of April 24, 2023, reveal that one of Genoa City’s most notorious bad boys has bit the dust, having been taken out just as he was about to take someone else out. It all led to a bloody and stunning scene as the murder weapon was a pair of scissors.
Let’s find out who has left the canvas, and what consequences are in the wind as a result of his murder.
James Hyde has finished his portrayal of villain Jeremy Stark. The evildoer was meant to murder Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with a pair of scissors when she fought back and wound up the victor.
Hyde did an Instagram live confirming his exit from the CBS soap that is the number one rated daytime drama.
He stated, “I loved the character. It’s unfortunate the way it happened, but that’s the way it goes.”
We agree Jeremy was a deliciously demented villain, but this being a soap opera, there is always the chance that the actor can come back as a good twin. Or maybe just a really good doppelganger?
Fans saw Red with a white sheet-covered body, so indeed it looks like she killed the man who was intent on killing her. The irony is that Phyllis is supposed to be dead, thus she will have a tricky time explaining herself when all is said and done.
Jeremy was trying to kill her so she will argue the murder was in self-defense. Plus, he stole Phyllis’s money and put it in an offshore account so there is that crime that can be argued.
Now there will be stunning consequences to pay and we can tell you that Red gets another accomplice in her quest. Spoiler alert: She lets her daughter Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) know that she is alive!
