OutDaughtered fans who follow Danielle and Adam Busby will know that April is the month of birthdays for Blayke and her little sisters. Can you believe that the quints will actually turn eight years old in 2023? Over the years, the kids had a lot of fun, and family time brought many smiles to TLC fans. However, along the road, Danielle went through some scary times. This week, she shared the scariest of them all.
Remember when Danielle was so ill and she went from specialist to specialist trying to get a diagnosis? Well, that wasn’t the scariest experience she ever had. Probably, you remember that she wore a heart monitor and she feared that she might even die or undergo open heart surgery. Actually, she isn’t well but manages her autoimmune condition through diet and lifestyle. So, she lived to see her kids enjoy more birthdays.
OutDaughtered fans know that things could have been bad for the mom of six. However, her faith carried her through the darkest hours. Nowadays, her oldest daughter Blayke, who now attends middle school, is like a replica of her mom. Meanwhile, the quints are fully developing their personalities and they bring absolute joy to Adam. With her Graeson Bee store becoming a reality, and a comfortable lifestyle, there’s a lot for Danielle to feel grateful for,
This week, the TLC star took to her Instagram and announced that she had published a blog post. Actually, she doesn’t do that as often as she used to. Over on It’s A Buzz World, she explained the most terrifying moment. In fact, she elaborated on how family, friends, and even doctors advised her to “abort” some of her babies. Imagine hearing that on top of the terrifying news of giving birth to five children all at once! She said, “Can you imagine being told that?? …Prob not hahaha… because who has actually ever thought about having quintuplets.”
OutDaughtered fans who read the blog saw that Danielle faced some terrifying moments. After all, where were they going to live? How would they support all these kids? Would she be a good mom? All of those thoughts made her feel afraid. She said, “This was a season of my life when I was flat out AFRAID!!!” She added, “People said we were crazy to move forward with so many negative factors we were facing.” In fact, some folks even suggested that if the babies didn’t die, then possibly, she would.
The OutDaughtered mom went on and talked about how one day, feeling overwhelmed, she realized that she couldn’t do it on her own. She turned to God. In her post, she wrote, “From that moment in the car, Adam and I prayed all the way home and made the decision to put our faith first and let God control the rest.”
It’s a message of Christian faith and not everyone has the same belief. However, believing in a higher power and living in faith certainly seems to help a lot of people face the scariest moments of their life. Can you relate to that? Shout out in the comments below.
